Welcome to the next ePIXfab full training. The training will deal in-depth with the MPW process and technologies. Hands on experience in optical design flow, from simulation to GDSII output will be provided by experts from PhoeniX Software. Laboratory tour and demo will also be organized at TNO Campus. Get to know the state-of-the-art in Silicon Photonics and how it can benefit your application.

The training also provides participants an opportunity for networking and getting to know other users interested in silicon photonics, technology providers and design experts. The training is suitable for academicians and industrial participants alike.

The training will follow the schedule below:

1. Full Program, you will attend all 5 days
2. Short Program: Introduction, you will attend only Day 1
3. Short Program: Updation, you will attend only Day 5

Please remember that you will need to bring your own laptop with an optical mouse in order to follow the hands-on training of the ePIXfab course.

The minimum laptop requirements are:

• IBM PC or 100% compatible
• Windows XP or newer (32bit or 64 bit)
• 500 MB hard disk space
• 1 GB memory
• TCP/IP port
• 2 USB ports
• 1 CD or DVD drive
• NOTE : Please bring a mouse because we will do 100% hands-on software training
