Eligible users ('European' users) get reduced prices for

• ePIXfab MPW shuttles
• PhotonFAB training activities

PhotonFAB pays the cost of coordination of the service for these users.

In addition, eligible users who contribute for the first time, can ask PhotonFAB for a limited amount of direct design support (in the form of helping the user making a specific design).

In order to be eligible for this benefits, a user must

• have one of the following affiliations:
  • an academic institute, or
  • a not-for-profit research institute, or
  • an industrial SME
• and be a registered member of the ePIXfab Interest Group
• and have a registered office and research department in a country fully associated to the FP7 programme.

As of 1/1/2008, the countries fully associated to FP7 are the EU member states, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey.
