Tailored for both industrial and academic participants, ePIXfab Silicon Photonics schools cover the fundamentals to the latest developments in the science and technology of Silicon PIC design, fabrication, assembly and testing for ever-growing applications of Silicon Photonics.
Anyone interested in photonics. Our audience consists of PhD students, master students, post-docs, people working in industry or RTOs, and more. The majority of the participants are typically PhD students.
The fee covers the participation to the course, lunches, coffee breaks, and dinner during the evening activities. The fee does not cover your travel or your accomodation. If your organization is a member of ePIXfab, you are entitled to a reduced registration fee. You can find all of our members here. Contact info@epixfab.eu for your promotion code.
After the school, you will have access to the presented slides and receive a digital certificate of attendance.
Simply click the register button on the right and follow the steps on the Eventbrite page.
Every year, ePIXfab's members offer grants to attend the summer school. The deadline for grant applications is April 15th 2026.
Academic students/staff and personnel from startups/SMEs from developing countries with a background in photonics, physics, electrical engineering or related disciplines. Women in academia from any country with a background in photonics, physics, electrical engineering, or related disciplines.
The grant covers the school registration fee and accommodation, but not the travel costs.
