SITRI, fully known as Shanghai Industrial μTechnology Research Institute, was established in 2013 and jointly initiated by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, the Jiading District Government and SIMIC HOLDINGS. Relying on SIMIC HOLDINGS's "Three-in-One" collaborative innovation system, SITRI has built a R&D and transformation functional platform integrating scientific research, technology development, achievement transformation, industrial incubation and talent cultivation. Through the full-process pilot production and key common technology R&D in the "More Than Moore" IC field, SITRI provides comprehensive technical support and industrial incubation services for its partners and innovation teams.

SITRI is a benchmark enterprise in the "Science and Technology Reform Action" of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (in 2022 and 2023), a national intellectual property advantage enterprise, and a "Specialized, Refined, Unique and Innovative" enterprise in Shanghai. It has been selected into the top 100 hard-core technology enterprises in Shanghai for two consecutive years. It has applied for over 1,000 patents in total, incubated more than 20 companies, with a total valuation of more than 15 billion yuan.

SITRI, based in Shanghai, oriented towards the Yangtze River Delta, and radiating across the country, builds a full-process innovation and high-quality incubation ecosystem that integrates scientific research, technological breakthroughs, industrial incubation, capital empowerment, and talent development. It aims to establish a "More than Moore" functional platform and industrial ecosystem that deeply integrates scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, promoting a leap in new quality productivity in the "More than Moore" field.
